PERSONALITY TYPES.

In pure science psychology, there are only 5 core personality types.*

The research of these personalities explains WHY each personality type is different from the other types; And HOW each personality type will most likely think, feel, or behave in any given situation or relationship.

A person’s core characteristics of personality can be seen throughout the life of that person.

By understanding your own personality type, you can avoid the frustration of trying techniques, habits, or approaches that are for a personality type different from your own.

Each issue of Journal Smarter has thinking and writing exercises uniquely for each unique personality type.

 * A NOTE ON INTROVERSION & EXTROVERSION:

Not everyone is 100% an Introvert or 100% an Extrovert. Half of the population has some degree of both introversion and extroversion. For this reason, the “BIG 5” personality research often combine the two as Introversion-Extroversion (making it one type).

However, when an individual has introverted/extroverted behaviors more than 51% of the time and in more than 51% of situations, that person is recognized as "highly" introverted/extroverted and this makes it their CORE personality type.
